A boost for pangasius quality

Vietnamese government sets minimum quality standards
To satisfy the demand of consumers for high quality pangasius products, the Vietnamese government has adopted a law to guarantee the quality of exported pangasius fillets.
Limits to glazing and water content
Based on the legislation, all the pangasius processors have to meet minimum standards for glazing and water content. The glazing of the frozen fillets can not exceed 10%. The maximum content of water in the fillets should not excess 83% net weight.
Consistent quality guaranteed
Through this legislation the quality of pangasius in the international markets will be of a consistent high level.
